There are two types of Metro Bus Passes available to the passengers.
1. Metro Express
2. Metro Deluxe
Procedure to get APSRTC Metro Pass:
Procedure to get a Metro Express and Metro Deluxe Bus Pass is same. The only difference is Cost of Bus Passes.
Cost/ Charges of Metro Express Bus Pass: Rs.650/- (for One Month)
The Passengers who has Metro Express Bus Pass can travel in Metro Express buses as well as in ordinary buses in city and sub-urban regions for one month.
Metro Deluxe Bus Pass Cost/ Fare: Rs.750/- (for One Month)
The Passengers who has Metro Deluxe Bus Pass can travel in Metro Deluxe busses, Metro Express buses as well as in ordinary buses in city and sub-urban regions for one month.
Documents Required for Metro Bus Pass:
Actually no documents (Xerox copy of PAN Card/ Driving License/ ID Proof certificates) are required for Metro Express/ Deluxe Bus Pass. Only the details of candidate are enough.
All the things you have to do is Just go to the APSRTC Bus Pass Counter. By taking your personal details they will provide one ID card with Photo (taken by using Webcam) for you. For this ID card they will charge you Rs.25/- & Identity Card will be valid for One Year.
The details required for ID card (Issued by APSRTC):
1. Type of Bus Pass (Metro Express/ Metro Deluxe)
2. Name of the Candidate
3. Date of Birth (Age)
4. Gender (Male/ Female)
5. Address of the Candidate
6. Contact Number
With the ID card (issued by APSRTC) & Charges of Bus Pass if you go to another bus pass counter they will give you Metro Express/ Deluxe bus pass with ID No., Ticket No. & Validity etc. accordingly.
