SBI Specialist Officers Selection Process – State Bank Group


State Bank of India conducting written test on 02.12.2012 for the recruitment of 514 Specialist Cadre Officers posts (except that for Economists, Security and Fire & Safety) in State Bank Group under (Advt. No. CRPD/SCO/2012-13/02).

Selection Process: Online written test and interview

Merit List for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in PK test and interview or interview only, as the case may be.

Written Test: Written test (WT) will be held on-line. There are five alternative answers to every question of all the tests. There will be Penalty for wrong answers marked by you in the objective tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by you, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. If the total of the penalty for test is in fraction, it will be rounded off to the nearest integer.

The written test will be of

1. Test of English Language

2. Test of Reasoning

3. Test of Quantitative Aptitude

4. Professional Knowledge (PK Test)

Except Professional Knowledge (PK Test) paper, other papers will be of qualifying in nature. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in these papers. Although the title of the test may be the same, the questions and their difficulty level will be different for different grades of posts

To be eligible for being short-listed for interview, candidate have to score equal to or above the SBI Cut off marks to be decided by the Bank for the PK test, besides scoring equal to or more than the Minimum qualifying marks in other tests.

Interview: In the interview, the candidate can opt for Hindi also.

Candidates must secure equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks (to be decided by the Bank) in interview to be considered for selection.
