Exam for free coaching to Civil Services Prelims 2013      

AP Study circle (for BC) invited online applications from eligible candidates belonging to Backward Classes (BC), Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) for free coaching for Civil Services Preliminary Examination – 2013 to be conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

AP Study circle for BC conducting a written test on 16.12.2012 for free coaching to the candidates appearing in UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2013.

The selected candidates in A.P. Study Circle for BCs located at Hyderabad (60-seats), Ananthapur (40 seats) and Vishakapatnam (40 seats).

All the selected candidates will be provided with, study material and either stipend Rs.1500 pm or boarding cum lodging facility (depending upon the availability of accommodation). The performance of the candidates will be evaluated and communicated every week.

Selection Process for Civil Services (Prelims) 2013 free coaching:

Selection process is based on Merit in the Written Test to be conducted by the Study Circles, an objective type entrance examination with 100 objective type of questions, on the lines of UPSC Civil (Prelims) Model for selection of candidates.

The seats are allocated to the candidates of different categories as follows: BC – 66% (including Muslims categorized under BC-E), SC-20% & ST-14%. Reservation to Physically Challenged and Women is 3% and 33 1/3% respectively with in the Categories.
